President Joe Biden to visit southwestern Wisconsin next week
MADISON - President Joe Biden plans to visit southwestern Wisconsin next week, the White House announced Tuesday.
Biden will visit the area on June 29 with Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to "talk about growing agriculture and rural economies."
The White House did not release any further details about the trip.
The visit will be Biden's second as president after defeating former President Donald Trump in November in Wisconsin by about 20,000 votes — a victory that has since been disputed without evidence by Trump, which has fueled skepticism of the most recent presidential election nationwide among some Republicans.
