Trump tool Tiffany displays his idiocy with Juneteenth vote

I highly doubt that freshman Wisconsin congressman Tom Tiffany has a clue about Black Americans and their history with American independence.

If he did, he wouldn't make ignorant statements like he did last week in explaining why he was the only Wisconsin member of Congress to vote against making Juneteenth a federal holiday.

"Once again, House Democrats have used their majority to balkanize our country and fuel separatism by creating a race-based 'Independence Day,'" Tiffany, of Minocqua, proclaimed. "There is only one Independence Day in America, just as there is only one National Anthem, one American flag and one America — under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

That led columnist Reggie Jackson of the Milwaukee Independent to suggest that perhaps Tiffany could spend some time reading American history.

1. Did he also rail against having both Memorial Day and veterans' day?

I mean two holidays to honor our troops is at Lear as redundant as he seems to think Juneteenth is with July 4th.

Never mind imagining how slaves must have felt about "Independence Day" after England ended slavery in 1837, 28 years before it ended here....

3. And, Tommie T is one of the smarter ones in WI

WI Repiggies can run an empty plastic bag, a dead goat, a puff of diesel exhaust, a rock, a Timber Rattlesnake, a chunk of coprolite, a toadstool, and Tiffany. Due to fear, ignorance, Gerrymandering, and self-loathing, all but one would win. Cheese is hard on the brain.

4. His vacuous cranium will implode when we replace "The Star-Spangled Banner".

Which can't happen soon enough.

BTW, “The Star-Spangled Banner” has only been the national anthem since 1931. There were four unofficial anthems prior to that.

5. Golly, it appears that Tommy needs to study US history

Oh, wait ... his party will make sure that US history isn't taught.
