"The new numbers won't change the monthly unemployment data that has been used to measure how well Walker is meeting his 2010 jobs promise.
Walker blamed the state's employment woes on the recalls, saying employers are hesitant to add jobs during times of political uncertainty but that there would be a "dramatic turnaround" after June 5.http://www.startribune.com/politics/151389005.html

I keep laughing my backside off when RepubliCONs and the CONNEDservative goobers they con keep repeating this junk about businesses hesitant to hire and invest because of political uncertainty (never mind 25 straight months of job growth). I always retort that the business and investor class sure seems to have great faith in Obama -- when Obama took office, the S&P 500 was at 850. At Wednesday's close (5/23/12) it was 1319, up 55% since he took office. (Contrast that to Bush's performance -- he inherited a 1343 S&P 500 from Clinton and left office with it at 850 - a 37% decline).

I use the prices at the last close before inauguration day -- inauguration days were 1/20/2001 and 1/20/2009
