WISCONSIN It's a big day in many communities around Wisconsin Tuesday as the state hosts the spring primary election on Tuesday, February 15. Primary winners across the state will move on to the general election on Tuesday, April 5.
Not all communities have races that qualify for the spring primary. For instance, there are no races in Madison.
After Tom Barrett's resignation, Milwaukee has it's first open mayoral race in nearly two decades. Seven candidates will be narrowed down to two after Tuesday.
