Media Action Center files complaint against Milwaukee Radio Stations
Submitted by Steve Hanson on Thu, 05/24/2012 - 1:39pm
The Media Action Center has filed a complaint against Milwaukee radio stations WTMJ and WISN for violating the Zapple doctrine. The gist of the charge is that the two conservative radio stations have provided much larger avenues for the Republican candidates in the state (notably Scott Walker) to promote their views than the opposing candidates. Although the Fairness doctrine has been removed from FCC rules as it was believed to be unenforceable, this remnant of the FCC rules on fairness remains.http://www.uppitywis.org/node
Since May 8 over 300,000 dollars worth of free air time to the Republicans...

(385 posts)that those stations have with Walker would think FAUX NEWS really was fair and balanced. They even had him on every week when he was county executive.
I wouldn't be surprised if WISN and WTMJ were actually illegally colluding with Walker.

(14,549 posts)Barrett himself should call. Say 'put me on now, I'll debate him' Demand it.
I wanted John Kerry to go to the CNN fishbowl (the sidewalk outside) when CNN was doing their daily Swift Boat interviews. Pound on the glass if need be but make them either put you on or aknowledge that they aren't interested in any kind of fairness.
Remind these station owners that Barrett will soon be governor.
