They are around for a few weeks and gone. Relax, they have been here a lot longer than we
have and have just as much right to be here. Cool it and enjoy the natural process of
their life cycle. Remember we do not own this planet; we only share it with all the
other life forms that have evolved here.

I have severe tinnitus with three basic tones: a high-pitched whistle, a deep hum...and overlaying them all is the loud sound of cicadas. So I can never tell if I'm hearing the actual bugs or my inner chorus!
