Republican legislators are taking a page out of Wisconsin Right to Life's playbook this session.

"They've promised to introduce every bill on the extreme, anti-women group's agenda. That means ignoring medically-proven best practices, forcing women to view their ultrasound before an abortion, and putting themselves squarely between a woman and her doctor.

And when asked about their unnecessary and spiteful ultrasound legislation, Republican leadership said that yes, "this bill is a priority.

I am doing everything I can to fight for Wisconsin's women and stop the dangerous anti-women bills, and I hope you will support me in this fight with a contribution of $15, $35, or $50.

At a time when we're 44th in the nation in job growth, getting Wisconsinites back to work should be our priority. But instead of doing their jobs, Republicans are doubling-down on their ideological agenda.

Rep. Jacque, one of my Republican colleagues, is even planning to introduce a "personhood amendment" that would amend the constitution to define personhood as beginning at conception, effectively outlawing otherwise legal abortions in Wisconsin.

We cannot let this happen. Help me show Rep. Jacque and Republican leadership that we wont stand for their attacks on Wisconsin's women."

Thank you,

Sandy Pasch
Assistant Assembly Democratic Leader
