Cheney Slams Biden, Pelosi For Not Speaking Out Against Defunding The Police

In signing a pledge offering “unwavering” support for America’s police officers, Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney blasted former Vice President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for not condemning the “Defund The Police” movement.

“I proudly signed Heritage Action’s ‘Police Pledge,’ which states that we unequivocally support our police officers & will oppose any effort to defund them,” Cheney tweeted. “Our police officers in Wyoming & across the country are heroes & they deserve to be treated as such.”

“Democrats like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, who don’t speak out against the reckless campaign to ‘defund’ our police, are irresponsible and dangerous,” she said.

This wasn’t the first time Cheney slammed Pelosi this week. On Wednesday, Cheney took a swipe against the House Speaker for using a hair salon in San Francisco when all hair salons are supposed to be closed due to the pandemic.

Normally I don't care for Cheney's opinion, but I did not find any other stories that fit into the group and I already examined most of the primary sources that I use for Wyoming.

1. redirect the funding....

.... into more community friendly programs, and training for police officers in dealing with the community etc, but there is one thing I wish would have happened. The person who first started the slogan " defund the police", should have had a sock shoved into their mouth and told to sit down and shut up. The battle is tough enough as it is without providing the enemy with ammunition.

2. Both have spoken about it...

Just because they weren't screeching their objections at a high decible rate does not mean they haven't said anything, which they have.

Lizzard can just shut the fuck up and slither back under her rock. Maybe she'll lose her seat next time she comes up for re-election.

what it means or more likely just spreading the bullshit narrative. When are you going to speak out about the thousands of dead your father is responsible for ?
