CASPER, Wyo. Liz Cheney led in early results in the Republican primary for Wyoming's U.S. House seat Tuesday night, while Ryan Greene led the Democrat race.
With 48 percent of the vote in, Cheney carried 41 percent of votes on the Republican ballot. Leland Christensen was the next-closest candidate, with 23 percent, followed by Darin Smith with 16 percent and Tim Stubson with 14 percent.
With 48 percent of the vote in for the Democrat race, Greene had 61 percent of the vote. Opponent Charlie Hardy had 39 percent.
Final results were not available by press time.
