NBA star Shaquille O'Neal meets with PM before Voice to Parliament press conference - ABC News (Aus)
The Prime Minister has enlisted the support of US basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal in a call for constitutional recognition of indigenous Australians and a voice to parliament.
Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese is speaking to the media after meeting with NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal and Australia's Minister for Indigenous Australians Linda Burney. The former basketball player contacted Mr. Albanese to speak about Australia's Voice to Parliament, a yet to be established permanent body representing First Nations people that would advise government on Indigenous policy.
