'Never come to the U.S. again!': Alleged border officer shown yelling at Canadian driver
Video footage circulating online shows what appears to be a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer screaming at a Canadian tourist to “never come to the U.S. again.”
The 39-second video has been uploaded to various social media sites and was taken from inside a vehicle travelling south on Hwy. I90 in New York State, just a few kilometres from the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge connecting Queenston, Ont., with Lewiston, N.Y.
The footage shows what appears to be a male CBP officer with an insignia on his sleeve. He was driving a grey pickup in the next lane. The man can be seen leaning out and shouting several times: “Never come to the U.S. again!”
Included in the video upload are captions that say: “Honked at my Ontario plate and now on my ass 2 miles from border” and “sees camera. Gets shy. Tries to run,” as the pickup passes the car and speeds away. “No turn signal,” it adds.
