both Canada & US are affected.

Hubby just told me that there are homes along 'the seaway', just a short drive from us, that are flooded and there's a lot more rain in the forecast.

Here's another news article on what's going on with more info and a map. The Mose-Saunders hydroelectric dam mentioned is around 50 minutes from us. We occasionally go there with the grands when we're in the area since it's fun to watch the large ships from various countries go through the lock there.

My heart goes out to those affected by this. We need the rain of course but a bit of a reprieve for the water levels in the rivers, lake, etc to go down and the crop & grazing fields to dry up a bit so they can be tilled, etc would be very helpful.
