Can anyone tell me about the Holland House Hotel, South kensington

Pretty cheap and the location is great. I don't care about comfort, because I will really only be there to sleep, but I don't want a real dump. Heading there for a few days in late November. Cheers!

There's a Holland House, but it seems to be a hostel, not a hotel (and it's more Pimlico way): http://lhalondon.com/holland-house/ (it's definitely cheap, a few mixed reviews, mainly complaints about the cleanliness of the toilets)

There's also a Holland Inn Hotel, which is in Kensington: http://www.booking.com/hotel/gb/holland-inn.en-gb.html (a bit pricier than Holland Court)

From what I can see online, it looks like it'll be OK if you're not bothered about a small room (and it's central).

Last time I was in London was 1992 so I need a place close to the sights so I don't spend too much time trying to find my way around.

....but it was an EasyHotel, and I would not recommend that to anyone.

These days I prefer to stay in Essex, and commute in via train as and when I fancy a day out in that there London town.
