But isn't suckering the whole point? A small number of extremely wealthy Brits saw a benefit to themselves and nobody else. But among them there weren't enough votes to get Brexit passed in the UK. So there was a point where stealth and devious lying took over, in order to get enough low-information voters on board with Brexit.
Feed their fears, anger and suspicion, don't give them any real facts that might make them run to the other side. Don't let them see how we're lying and manipulating them. Don't let them think about the obvious outcome of this huge reversal. Treat them like the suckers they are, just keep up the pretense until we get them to vote for "leave."
It's wake-up time in the UK, especially in England where the consequences of Brexit are frightening.
