Here's something odd: we are advised to "vary our daily commute"

Picture at link of government recommendations - I'm looking for a direct source.

WTF??? Are they saying there's a cumulative risk from day to day? Even if they mean "if on public transport, vary it", how does that help? Doesn't it mean you're in contact with more people over the week?

1. It's to keep the virus from learning your routine or following you home?

4. That I can understand. But the 'vary' just makes no sense.

Have they copy-n-pasted from some advice on how to avoid stalkers? Their advice to the Skripals?

Perhaps they mean "if you do use public transport, try to travel at off-peak times so it's less crowded". But why put that as "vary daily commute"? Which has been mentioned in New South Wales: https://www.theleader.com.au/story/6680618/off-peak-train-and-bus-travel-urged/?cs=1507

6. Normally, upon entering the tube...

... my philosophy is “breath deep” because whatever is down there will get inside you no matter what you do.

Now my philosophy is “don’t enter the tube”.
