Surrey police knew of hacking claim on Milly Dowler phone back in 2002

Surrey Police knew of an allegation in 2002 that murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler's phone had been hacked but took no action, despite an indication that a crime had potentially been committed, the Independent Police Complaints Commission said today.
