Gosport deaths: Police continue to question man.

Police are continuing to question a 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder after two teenage girls were hit by a car and killed on Sunday.

Jasmine Allsop, 14, and Olivia Lewry, 16, were struck by a green Honda Civic at 04:15 GMT while walking along a road in Gosport, Hampshire.

Jasmine died at the scene while Olivia was pronounced dead later at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.

The man, who is from Gosport, was arrested on Sunday afternoon.

Horrible story. Apparently the man was first arrested on charges of causing death by dangerous driving, but then the police started to suspect that it was actual murder.
