"Whilst I accept that I cannot survey the post-electoral scene and say with any certainty that a Labour party led by Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper or Liz Kendall will win the next election"

That admission is the whole problem. Blairism's whole appeal is electability and absolutely nothing else. Jeremy Corbyn does have a serious problem when it comes to electability.

However, none of the other candidates look capable of getting Labour back into office either, which means that it comes down to who has the best platform. And Blairism hasn't provided a positive platform for a very long time.

Also, I can't help but wonder why, if Alastair Campbell is such an expert on getting elected, does he never stand for election?

Even countries with far-left, anti-US leaders (e.g. Cuba and Venezuela) do not get state visits from these particular leaders. I don't think that Daesh do state visits to or from anyone at all, except at gunpoint; and Haniyeh, the Hamas leader, has only had such contacts with a few countries - the nearest to Europe being, I think, Turkey.

One could suggest that some of Corbyn's foreign policies might be naïve, without going quite so over-the-top.

And let us note that Blairite foreign policy was hardly great either, and led to a destabilization of much of the Middle East with a massive resulting increase in extreme Islamist activity in the region.

...I'd do it by linking to an article like this http://leftfootforward.org/2015/08/why-is-noone-challenging-jeremy-corbyn-on-foreign-policy/

Although even then this article spends plenty of time admonishing the Blairites for the appalling way that they've conducted themselves in this leadership contest. Pointing out that "if Corbyn can still be defeated it will only be through convincing the party members and supporters why he is wrong – not simply saying he is wrong over and over again."
