I think that looking forward toward the next elections cycles, it is important to remember that we
emphasize what we are for, not just what we are against. I think that one of the reason that the
Republicans have had us against the ropes, and that includes in the 2004 elections, is that the
candidates, such as Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, forgot to do that. I think the real danger with
Donald Trump and his "everything is on the table" approach is that he has the ability of tricking
people into doing that, especially when he makes wild, unsubstantiated claims.
