2018 TN US Senate Race-How would Harold Ford Jr or Jim Cooper in a matchup against Blackburn-R?

Harold Ford Jr. got 48% of the vote in the 2006 TN US Senate Race against Bob Corker.
Jim Cooper got 39% of the vote in the 1994 TN US Senate Race against Fred Thompson.

For the Democratic nomination.

He seems to be a good candidate and would be a better choice than Harold Ford in my opinion.

There are other high potential Democratic candidates who I am waiting to hear make an announcement.
Tim McGraw. Country Singer who said in 2006 he would one day like to run for the US Senate or Governor. 2018 would be McGraw's best opportunity. It is an open seat. 2018 will be a Democratic wave. McGraw can self fund unlike Mackler.

My contacts think Bredesen is stronger and more likely to run.

Ford is probably weaker now than when he last ran for office. Not one of my favorites either, but I don’t vote in TN.

She and Huckabee Sanders both grate on my nerves big time.
