If Cardin-MD decides not to seek re-election to his US Senate seat in 2024,
Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks should be the Democratic Nominee.
Alsobrooks will be the MD’s 1st black female US Senator and an outspoken progressive.
Jamie Raskin is better of remaining in the US House because he can represents a safe democratic district, he is a shoe-in in the Democratic primary for his US House seat, he can campaign for Democratic US House nominees from swing districts nationwide to get elected in order for Democrats to get back in the majority in the US House in order for Raskin to be the chairman of the US House Oversight and Reform Committee.
