Bennet will be in the US Senate for 26 years by 2035. Bennet will be the longest serving US Senator of CO if we exclude Henry Teller’s 6 year term(1876-1882) before Teller became US Secretary of Interior. Bennet will be the 2nd longest serving US Senator of CO if we include Henry Teller’s 6 year term(1876-1882) before Teller became US Secretary of Interior. After Teller left the US Secretary of Interior’s office,Teller has been in the US Senate from 1885-1909(24 years).
In 2029, Bennet will also be the 2nd longest serving US Senator of CO.
