If one gets a grease stain, it’s a mofo to get it out. Often takes multiple washings, with abundant use of something like Spray and wash.

Your suggestions?

4. That's what I use too

I keep a bottle in my laundry room, and usually rub it in just a little and leave it overnight. It's relatively cheap too, considering how little you have to use.

The new super concentrated foam is even better if not a little pricey so I only use it in the laundry room. Old oil field trick, if you get oil on your jeans, dump a coke in the wash with them. Not recommended for light weight or light colored fabrics. JEANS ONLY

2. I have had luck with Clorox 2

I pour it directly on the stain and leave it awhile before washing.

Also Biz is really good for keeping dark colors from looking faded due to a build up of laundry soap in the item. Just add a bit to your wash cycle of either Clorox2 or Biz and it works really well for me.

Years ago, I complimented a friend on a cute, black tunic top and asked if it was new. Her reply was that it was at least 10 years old. I could not believe how dark and un-grayed looking the black top was...and that is how I got turned on to Clorox 2 and Biz for dark colors.

14. That's how I do it.

Use small amount and rub it in a bit. Then hot ( boiling) water, then launder. Will even work on old stains sometimes. Sometimes need to do it again.
Or don’t wear good shirts when you cook ( that advice is for me ha ha)

It's good enough for me... Works like a champ. Another thing I read but have not tried is to put oil on the stain and then quickly wash it out with dawn. The new oil takes the old oil out with it...
Like I said I have not tried it YMMV..

12. When dawn can't get it out

I spray a little clean freak on it.

Clean freak has degreasing properties.
It can get grease out.
Let it sit on the shirt a good while,half hour,hour.
Rinse it out and do your wash.

Be sure to test on your fabric.

But it works well on tshirt material.It doesn't affect black shirts too.

15. THIS is why...

...I don't often wear solid color tops!
I make most of my clothes, and I usually use printed fabric for tops...they don't show stains or discolorations as easily. Of course, i live in Florida, so I'm in short sleeves or sleeveless most days.

I realized that prints don’t show stains as much as solid colors do.

But for some reason, lots of clothing manufacturers made most of their casual tees for women in solid colors.

2 parts hydrogen peroxide to 1 part Dawn in a spray bottle. That's my go-to laundry stain spray.
