Thanks to all of you who have helped me in the past with my minimal issues. I just solved

one of them myself, I had no choice. "Avast" is no more. I removed it and OMG, the speed was awesome and even Firefox was glad to see me back (that's what their message said, I didn't know I had left them). Anyway, many thanks to you folks for all of your input, I'm a happy camper right now....until the next time...LOL..
