Need advice on new ISP
Thinking of moving from a DSL line with unlimited data to a microwave signal that restricts me to 150Gb/mo.
I do no gaming and may check out less than a 1/2 hour of youtube/video a day. Mostly email and scanning my favorite sites.
I recently bought an Amazon Firestick for watching movies through Netflix and/or AmazonPrime.
How do I know how much I can download with this limitation?

(3,270 posts)Go into your Netflix account and change your streaming Playback Settings from "HIGH" (best video quality, up to 3 GB per hour for HD, 7 GB per hour for Ultra HD), down to "MEDIUM" (standard video quality, up to 0.7 GB per hour).
And disable "Play next episode automatically," so it doesn't waste your bandwidth automatically.
I do not know if Amazon has similar settings available for streaming quality.
