Need help with color in sig line

On my profile page, at bottom, under Sig line, the quote is red, which is what I wanted.

but when I post,.... the sig line quote is not colored.

This is the code I am using for the sig line:

I am so clueless when it comes to stuff like this....any help appreciated.

On edit: I just noticed that when I copied the sig line code into this post, where I said this was the code I am using, it is red.
But the same sig line at bottom of post is not red.
