Firefox issues;
This just started happening yesterday; when I go to certain, and just a few, websites, the pages load but not all the way. For instance the website that's loaded from the DU link;
http://www.democraticunderground.com/101617777 http://politicalhumor.about.com/od/politicalcartoons/ig/Political-Cartoons/ I only get a partial listing of the items and none of the images show. There are links to individual cartoons within the site but these do not get loaded. I can view all of DU's website with no problem. I have reinstalled Firefox and got the latest Adobe plug-ins. I will try and get help on the Firefox forums but I thought I'd try here first. Thanks in advance.

1. Which version of FireFox?
I disabled automatic updates of FireFox because it seems that less and less works with every released build.
I have seen where your AntiVirus application can create a virtual proxy for your browser to scan all your web traffic... see if you can disable your AV software and if browsing DU becomes a better experience. Disable your add-on extensions... Namely, older versions of FireBug seem to cause a lot of problems with sites that institute Google Analytics (Yes, DU does). I've been getting a lot of "Server Reset....Try Again" messages since v9.0.1 infected my system. |
