The hope being to copy the same material and put in another link for reuse-

ETA: I would like to do this for smthg. I wrote a few days ago. Also, a while back a poster commented in a gotcha way to another- "I've saved/copied YOUR POST"- for future use I presume.

The catch is that most programs where to do the paste will not preserve the formatting of the text.

sites will allow what you want to do if set up to do such,it doesn't happen here tho.
