Advice needed about a USB cable.

I have an old Blackberry Pearl 8100 that I had packed away, and running across it yesterday, I discovered several pictures still on it that I had forgotten were there. I no longer have the USB data cable that came with it, and a Google search for which cable I need has left me confused. I could use a definitive answer to two questions:

1.) What make/model of USB data cable do I need?

2.) Once I have the proper cable, what is the exact, step-by-step procedure for downloading the pictures from the Blackberry to my lap top?

Thank you in advance for your help.

The 8100 also supports Bluetooth. If your laptop has Bluetooth capabilities, you can also transfer the files wirelessly. The default passkey is '0000' which you will need to enter on your laptop after you turn your phone's BT on and connect.

I have one of those, but when I tried using it, all it did was charge the 8100.

I had a Pearl Flip and it would charge but not connect without installing Blackberry software on the computer (Windows in this case).
