Please tell me how to get the Search box back in the Address ribbon in Firefox
For now this is my main issue. Suddenly the Search box disappeared. I've looked in View/Toolbars (not much there except the Menu bar), the menu icon, Options.
********Deviating from this one issue, I'll say I'm totally low tech and I only got brave enough to go to Firefox after my entire computer life being IE. It has looked familiar and not posed many problems and I like the idea of a non-profit whatever. But whether it's Firefox or Windows 10, some things are driving me batty just a little bit, like when the cursor swipes cause my font in e-mail to shrink and I don't know how to swipe it back where it was. Anyway, I'll be happy for now if we can focus on this one issue of Search box. Thanks.

(5,935 posts)* Right click on the toolbar to the right of a tab or just above the web address box (which serves as a search field, by the way).
* Choose CUSTOMIZE (last option in the list that pops up after right click)
* In the large ADDITIONAL TOOLS AND FEATURES window on the left, you can see a search box.
* Drag the search box to where you want it.
* Click the green EXIT CUSTOMIZE button near the bottom right.

(70,725 posts)Looks like you could have a whole career solving my problems!1 Not to take up your time, but if you can clue me in as to why it disappeared in the first place, my curiosity will be served.
Or, if you choose:
* The font sizing swipes up and down without my intending, then I can't get it back by conscious swiping. On websites I can adjust the sizing by the Menu, but in e-mail can't do it. After Sending, the font is normal, just random during typing.

(5,935 posts)What sort of device are you using? Are you using the Windows 10 e-mail program?
As to how the search box disappeared in the first place, I'm not sure. I think there's a right-click menu option that hides it. I'm always making right click mistakes without seeing it because I'm a habitual mouse clicker. I like to click!
