DAMN YOU NEWEGG

I bought a GPU that was a bit too inferior for what I thought it could run.

So I want to return it... The Premiere account has a feature where they waive the restocking fee and return shipping fee, WONDERFUL. So I signed up for the free trial. I get the promo code to do the free trial. The code doesn't work.

Now I'm on hold for an hour on the phone, just so I can find out if they can fix it on their end. WATCH, they won't believe me, and won't help me.

FREAKING OUT. Damn you newegg, damn you black friday sales, damn you holidays!!!!

I had BETTER get all the help I wanted to get out of the phone call. I don't want to deal with no damn, "Oh that code expired months ago" bullshit.

Listen Newegg, if the code was expired, then why is your system giving it out today? You had better COMPENSATE.

Got it for Star Wars Battlefront, works amazing.

Then got a free copy of Assassins Creed Syndicate, a game I wasn't planning on getting. It brought my new GPU to it's knees.

Buyers remorse kicked in. Then I needed the upgrade.

So yes, I too, have common sense.

When I buy a CPU or GPU I figure on at least a 50% overhead room on performance.

But minimal spec hardware will always end up not being good enough somewhere down the line.

My current setup will play it at Ultra Level if I was a gamer.

Sorry, I got carried away with other holiday shopping tasks.

The phone call I scheduled for a callback, CALLED ME 2 HOURS LATER than they said they would so... glad I didn't wait.

The newegg people helped quickly. Fixed the system somehow and it then recognized the code. So that's awesome!

I purchased the next card, a GTX 970 4gb and have requested my RMA with all return fees waived along with a full refund.
