Can anyone tell me why I am getting logged out of sites like DU every time?

I click on the option to stay logged in but this and many other sites are now requiring me to log in each time I go to it. My son suggested that the latest Windows update may be causing it. Can anyone help?

Just off the top of my head. If it's happening when you close your web browser. It could be that Afromania Oct 2017 #1

it's set to clean up cookies and such when you close it. Or maybe the little remember me/keep me logged in box isn't checked?

If I need to recover one, I just refer to it. It's an inconvenience, nothing more.

They updated I think 9/28, has a tendency to muck things up until you figure out what flags or security settings inexplicably changed.
