if you are not sure how to use it-,go to micro soft's web site and ask in question and answers. It is better than xp,way better.Or use yer voice search (Cortana) If you don't have it pinned, it's in the windows menu under c-,it will walk you through it. It will also answer any question that comes to mind as you operate windows. Way way better than xp.

Hit the windows icon -,scroll to c - calculator-camera so on down to CORTANA -on the buttom of the c's -activate Cortana if it isn't already though it should be. Cortana is yer voice search function. Ask Cortana to run the tutorial.

Micro soft has a windows support page - you might look that over too. Choose what operating system you use and the information will come up.

Slang aside, the difference is amazing. Please take the time to learn the new stuff like keyboard shortcuts. You will be so glad you did. Except for a few things it is very much like Win7. Google is your friend.

Official Windows 10 support forum at Microsoft (go here for difficult problems)

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10

1- Go to that link.

2- Make sure you have an Outlook.com email account to use the forum. You can discard it later if you wish. The Outlook.com link is the signup link, and is safe to click.

3- Click the Participate link at the top of the page

4- Click Ask a Question

5- Make sure your subject line spells out your problem very briefly and accurately

6- Make sure in the body of your forum post, that you list everything you have tried to do to solve the problem.

7- Make sure you list the make of your computer (Dell, Alienware, custom built, etc)

8- You will be asked several questions. This is normal and part of the process. Many times forum posters know as much as the staff engineers. The super difficult problems go to the engineers.

9- Expect a response within 24 to 48 hours, sooner if you get lucky. Again, YOUR SUBJECT LINE IS CRITICAL. Do not just say I FREAKING HATE WINDOWS 10 (yes, for real, some people do this)... be calm, be brief, be accurate. Everyone knows you're frustrated and maybe angry.
