Hi everyone. I mostly access DU from my iPhone7.Lately,

when I type certain punctuation marks (such as using quotation marks or apostrophes) they don’t show up in the final post. Any idea how to fix this? It only happens on DU.

Turn off Smart Punctuation to disable the curly quotes. A while back the DU admins disabled the display of these, for some reason -- it may have had to do with bandwidth concerns, I'm not sure.

This is a function of the iOS operating system, by the way, not specific to phone version as far as I know.

until I read a thread about it a few months ago. Amazing how such a seemingly little thing can be so annoying!
