Samsung Galaxy S6 'Gallery' going black and other weird things
Hope this is the right FORUM.
A few weird things going on with GALLERY on my SAMSUNG Galaxy S6 bought in may 2015.
Two days ago(EXACTLY to the week when I paid off the phone!!) the "Gallery" Icon changed--all by itself. But the real problem is- when I took a few pics they did show up in the Gallery.. BUT when I selected a certain pic, it showed up BLACK. (All other older pics were fine.)
HOWEVER, the new pics DID show up in GOOGLE PHOTOS immediately. In the past it would sometimes take 30-60 minutes for new pics to show up in GOOGLE PHOTOS.
As of yesterday, any pics I took in the last 2 days COULD be seen in the Gallery. And also if I selected a particular pic. BUT, if I start swiping through the pics, all pics in the last 2 days are black. Only those taken before, I guess Saturday, can be seen.
That is my main question---
OH-- I just noticed--- some older pics are now looking blank white in the Gallery 'full view." But when I select them I can see them.
Weird stuff is happening. Is my phone dying?

Next-- is My local GREAT PC shop stopped selling phones SO I had to go to the VERIZON store. _)(*&^%$%^&*()(*&^.
Without bitching about the place, you know the story, (I HATE those corporate shill fuckers.) they very sneakily tried to sell me an "UPDATE." Dumb me. I sat down at the SALES TABLE,only to discover a UPDATE really meant UPGRADE which really meant NEW PHONE.
Maybe I do need a new phone. That's why I am posting here, to find out.
