Firefox has suddenly forgotten what links I have already visited.

This has happened before, and seems to have happened in the middle of a session when I was just switching between pages, not fiddling with any kind of settings. Super-annoying, since I can't tell which links in google searches I've visited previously.

Is there any kind of key shortcut that can delete browsing history ?? If so, sounds super-dangerous.

ETA: Firefox is up-to-date, OS is OSX 10.9.

Have you considered switching to Chrome? I find it far superior to Firefox for Windows users. Much quicker, less buggy.

FF on OS X is far inferior to Safari. Once again, quicker and less buggy.

occasionally lost its way in Windows. Drove me nuts when it happened.

Did you try digging through the History? Sometimes it lost that, too, but sometimes that helped.
