Can PDF or Word be posted in DU as a link? Or just Copy/Paste the whole thing?

Am finding out that highlighting in PDF/Word can't be done for a link - just something like Bold/Italic/etc. Any assistance will be much appreciated.

That is, already on a server. Right click on the link to the document, select 'Copy Link Location' and paste that into your post.
