Test if your Internet connection speed is truly what you paid for

Want to know how efficient your web connection is? In partnership with nPerf, here's a great way to see if your bandwidth is really up to what your ISP is telling you. To test your Internet speed simply start the service in the widget below (you may not see it if you are blocking javascript):

and it seems always reliable. I had forgotten about it. I mostly use Open Speed Test. Our guys use OST now that we finally are able to get a higher speed than the slow wireless we had. I tested them both, they were almost the same. I will keep this one just to check against OST, there are times we do not know why we cannot get much and it shows we are getting better than we seem to be able to get. Thanks.

if you don't want to use an app you might give testmy.net a whirl. I've found it seems a little more stable on mobile (but, not much)

Speed test right now has it at 880 down...600 up.

Another one I have found which does at least measure it is: https://speedtestfast.com/ookla-speed-test/ but it doesn't provide much useful direction as to what to do about it.
