You would need to contact the video creator, musician, artist, etc and get their permission. Without permission you would be a thief, which I hope no one on a Democratic website would be. Otherwise you are no better than a grifting rethug. Ethical persons contact me daily for permission to use my Youtube content...the many that do steal my video content (which I find a lot on Twitter)I dislike more than That thing in the White House.

They are old BBC mysteries and are free to anyone who want to view them on YouTube or on the BBC website. I travel to a place where I have no internet. I have tried to get the closest company just last week to install the internet but after working for about 3 hours, I was told it was a no go and that I am too far from a tower. I download books from my local library before I leave my house and also the downloadable netflix movies and series (for which I pay)and Rachel and Lawrence on podcast. There is nothing out in this west Texas crazy land bur religious and right wing nuts on the airwaves. You people make me sad. Thanks for the help.

There's lots of apps to download content, but you kinda need a pc or mac.

But ... if you're looking for easily downloadable content, check out archive.org! They have a lot of freely downloadable material.

First, fair use. It exists. https://fairuse.stanford.edu/overview/fair-use/what-is-fair-use/

Second, there's plenty of public-domain / non-copyrighted material on youtube!

Not everyone interested in downloading youtube content is a thief!

Those arrogant condescending comments actually made me cry. Not what I expected when I asked for help on DU.

https://www.youtube.com/premium

Sounds similar to Netflix downloads and such, no idea though as I haven't used the youtube subscription thing yet.
You get a free trial at least.
