I got a new computer which was defective which I have since returned. I bought and installed Office

for Student and home on that computer. I need to install that purchase on my new computer. MS says to uninstall it from my other computer which I not longer have. None of their instructions work. Any help. Thanks.

1. No, but...

Here is a list of viable alternatives if you don't find a way to get Microsoft to help you with that. You could also contact the place you bought it, if you got it retail.

2. Thanks. I bought it on line.

The odd thing is that when I go to my MS account, it is not even shown as purchased. I have Excel for my expensese and do not want to have to reconfigure it.

3. Have you tried calling the general Microsoft support number online?

You can also send an email through the “contact us” link on their support page.
