I have a question about TV audio problem (I know it's not a computer question but

you people are so knowledgeable I'll ask you just in case you can help)

My TV audio is fine.... except for one channel..... CNN. Since last week it's been cutting out.... at first I thought it was just because some people are Skyping or Zooming from home and the audio would cut in and out. But now I realize it's that channel. I opened the Spectrum TV app on my tablet and the audio is fine, it's just on my Samsung tv which is about 9 years old.

Is my television on the blink? (I rebooted but that didn't solve it).

So why would just one channel be wonky?

Not sure if you can adjust that but maybe try putting it in gaming mode?

the problem is just on my TV.

I found a workaround. If I rewind a couple of seconds then play it seems to be fine. weird.

If so, does the problem manifest on both HD and standard versions? (On my system these are two different channel numbers.)

Since it’s OK on your tablet, it does seem it could have something to do with the TV (or the “set-top box,” if you have one.) Have you tried rebooting that device?

The tv just plays what it’s fed. I’ve had an issue with only one or two channels not working and it was the box.

if it keeps happening I will be forced to call Spectrum. LOL At least it could be changed out easily if that would fix it.

couldn't find my particular problem. I wonder how long tv sets last nowadays? Is 9 years considered "old"?

Do you have another tv?
If so, hook it up and determine whether the problem is the signal or the tv.
I can't imagine a tuner losing part one frequency only.
