Windows 7 drivers for newer motherboards

Anyone know where to find W7 drivers for a Gigabyte Z390 Designaire mobo?

Apparently Microsoft cut a deal with Intel to push their leechware OS by not offering earlier version drivers for their chipsets on new motherboards. Smart scum they are.

Are there workarounds yet? Has anyone been able to hack this?

hopefully,
Bright

1. W7 isn't getting security updates any more. It's time to move on. You can most likely fix...

any of the issues keeping you from adopting 10.

3. According to their own website, windows 7 is not supported on that board.

Not looking good, Bright. You might try starting a support case with Gigabyte and see what they can offer.

Sorry.

4. Doubt it, but...

...you may want to look into Windows 10 Ameliorated (https://ameliorated.info). Itís a modified version of Win10 that removes everything that could cause a privacy intrusion.

5. I will look into it, thanks. I thought about getting W-10 the "N" version...

... which does not include Cortana and the other spyware and leechware steers, but it's very hard to obtain in the US, as it's the "European" version of Windows.

If this is anything like that it might be do-able.

much thanks!

appreciatively,
Bright

6. There are several projects/programs that remove all telemetry and installed junk in windows 10.

Check youtube for specific examples with tutorials.

9. Point being that I don't want to.

The standard Windows 10 package is loaded with spyware and "apps" designed to monetize the user's media consumption by channeling access to content, and it prioritizes MS "apps" requiring "subscriptions" over actual software with lifetime licenses.

wearily,
Bright
