Pwned by FB breach

Not even sure what this means other than what I googled which is a hacker owns my info on email they got from FB.

I changed my password on FB and my email accounts and a bunch of other accounts connected to that email. I signed out of FB on all devices.

I have always been careful with my settings on FB only my friends can see things and only me on email and any personal info.

I never connected with third party sites through them and never gave them my phone number because I never trusted them.

My gmail accounts all show I am ok in security and only devices are mine.

Is there anything else I should do?

Everything is online now and too many passwords, I am trying to change to different ones but I have many more to go, did all important ones today.

I do everything with Apple and most of my new passwords are computer generated saved in the cloud.

FB breach had nothing to do with passwords, you didn't need to do any of that ... Hugh_Lebowski Apr 2021 #1

It was just name, email, DOB, and maybe your phone number. It was just 'scraped' from the site, not really a 'hack'.

The most damage anyone can do with this is make more realistic looking 'phishing' emails to send you (and/or text you, or call you about, if they have the phone number).

This is not really that private of info, and nothing worth freaking out over. Just be cautious about emails, texts, and phone calls, which you should anyway.

BTW, who told you 'pwned by FB breach'? How do you know 'hackers' have your email from that breach?

I clicked on it from a article in apple news thinking it was safe? It said my email was.

I am pretty careful normally about clicking on anything, opening emails, texts etc.

Thanks for the info.
