plus you can turn off saving searches. Then scrub your cookies.

Duck duck go uses google results without the ads.

Or, as in the poster above's example, you need a toaster, use this exact string including the quote marks.

"Toaster" - Amazon

When you use the double quote marks, your search is for the exact words between the quotes.

Otherwise, you also get a lot of results that Google may think are related enough to what you're looking for that you'll want to see them even if that search term isn't actually there.
