Can anyone offer a step-by-step way to uninstall or get rid of the "octopus" known as
Mediavine"?
We apparently unknowingly got it on our tablet by applying for a "magic link" necessary to order from an online seller. Now we get blaring unwanted audiovisual ads invading our screen.
HELP!

(16,903 posts)1. I got this from the internet... hope it helps.
How do I block Mediavine ads?
How to use this tool:
In your settings area, click on the tab titled "Disable Ads."
Check the boxes for the ad unit(s) you would like disabled. This does not automatically disable ads. ...
Set the date you would like the block to expire. ...
Copy & paste the code into your blog post. ...
Save your blog post!

(6,672 posts)2. I would think the octopus is an app
that you can delete through your settings.
But then again, I'm not going to get it to find out. 😀
