Can anyone offer a step-by-step way to uninstall or get rid of the "octopus" known as

Mediavine"?

We apparently unknowingly got it on our tablet by applying for a "magic link" necessary to order from an online seller. Now we get blaring unwanted audiovisual ads invading our screen.

HELP!

How do I block Mediavine ads?
How to use this tool:

In your settings area, click on the tab titled "Disable Ads."
Check the boxes for the ad unit(s) you would like disabled. This does not automatically disable ads. ...
Set the date you would like the block to expire. ...
Copy & paste the code into your blog post. ...
