Why does att account I don't use appear

For my email page on laptop? How do I get back to my regular page? My server is att, my email is in gmail. Am I even wording this right?

1. Depends on your operating system.

Find where the mail setup lists "accounts" and delete the ATT account.
Make sure the others are active.
This is going to vary, so I am making it general.

ATT is absolutely FAMOUS for billing you after you have closed the account and terminated service,

2. A minor blast from the past

Ten or so years ago I moved from the city to a small town and decided to change my ISP in the process.

I had been with a very large company and while I was winding things up, I made sure they sent me an email confirming the date of service cancellation.

They tried to bill me for an extra month but luckily I had the proof.
