What is the best way to transfer the photos on my iPhone 6 to my laptop.

I have a ton of photos that I need to transfer to my laptop, but want to keep some of them on my iPhone 6. I’m sure it’s easy, but as senior, I’m no computer genius. Any advice?

and open the email on your computer, then download the attached photo to whatever file you want to keep them in. My iPhone automatically sends photos to my laptop via my wifi, but you might not be set up for that, and email is easy.

I’ll try the email approach. Sounds like the easiest.
I love the idea of the iPhone automatically sending the photos to laptop, but not sure if I would need a phone more advanced than the 6.

1. How many photos are we talking about?

2. From iphone to Mac, the usual cord for charging can connect to Mac. Then, use Photos app to import.

3. Wirelessly, you might send a few by email or messenger software such as Facebook messenger, Whatsapp or other.

A lot, I know. A lot of the photos I’ve saved are ones from DU, which I text and email to friends. A lot of good and funny stuff on DU.

Through USB and you don’t have iTunes installed, windows will pop up an alert asking you if you wish to import the pictures automatically. Just read the windows and check boxes carefully or it can delete the pictures from the phone when done importing

If you're not regularly saving your phone's pix, be prepared to lose them if you lose your phone!

If you're backing up your pictures, then whatever holds the backups could be read by your PC to
import them to that computer.
