How do I get rid of the "Backup and Sync is No Longer Available" announcement every time I start my

computer? I don't care about using Backup and Sync or whatever replaces it. I just want this announcement to quit bothering me every time I start my PC.

I don't want a lecture about how I need to back up my computer somewhere every time I start it. I just want the thing to go away.

Or a Windows prompt? If Windows , what version is it? 10? 11? Etc.

If its from a Google account on a Windows machine then just go to Start> Settings > Apps & Features > Find Google backup/sync (whatever its called as I don't use anything Google-related but the name will be similar to what I said) > and uninstall it. Reboot. That should do it. If you want to resume using it at some point in the future instead go to Start > Settings > Start Up > and see if its listed there. Just de-select if so. Reboot.

Go to your Google account and turn off any backups associated with the cloud icon.
