Is a Canon MX340 printer the same as a Canon PIXLA MX 340 printer?
I wanted to order ink and when I type in Canon MX340, everything comes back Canon PIXLA MX 340. I went to the Canon website and learned my printer is retired and not supported, not surprised, but didn't find an answer ot my question. I don't see PIXLA anywhere on my printer. Before I order, I want to be sure I get a compatible cartridge.
Thank you so much for any advice.

(8,077 posts)1. Is there a number on your old (current) cartridge?
For example, the large black ink cartridge in my HP printer is marked 564 XL.
So I just order a 564 XL cartridge & it's the right one.

I think I have all I need, but just wasn't sure there was more to the name change. It's been so long since I changed the cartridge, I had to hunt up a video to see where it was inthe printer. lol
Thank you.
