Alienware - supreme bloat

I'm ordering these units for test purposes in our lab. These have got to be the Hummer equivalents in the PC world - ridiculously oversized and overpriced. Totally absurd artifacts of modern technology. Is anybody in the real world actually buying these beasts who isn't a pampered One-Percenter? Is your gaming experience actually going to leave you pining for more performance than a standard SLI graphics setup in a normal modern desktop platform can deliver?

Everyone knows that translucent panels and purple running lights make things go faster.
